GIZ x Think Policy Flagship Report: Indonesia in Transition

Indonesia in Transition offers a timely and nuanced perspective on the evolving landscape of climate policy and governance in Indonesia following the 2024 general election. Developed by Think Policy in collaboration with GIZ, the report assesses how the country’s climate commitments, particularly its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), can be advanced within the context of the new administration’s development agenda, Asta Cita.

By combining regulatory analysis, institutional mapping, and multi-stakeholder insights, the report highlights both the opportunities and challenges of aligning climate priorities with national economic goals. It aims to support constructive dialogue and inform strategic collaboration between government institutions, development partners, and civil society in strengthening Indonesia’s climate resilience and low-carbon transition.
