As a Junior Product Design & Development Lead at Think Policy, you will be responsible for designing and developing website designs for all Think Policy and Bijak products and initiatives. Additionally, you will conduct user research to understand user needs and preferences, as well as maintain and manage existing websites using Framer and other development platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Website Design

    • Create visually appealing and functional designs for the Think Policy and Bijak product websites.

    • Develop interactive prototypes for testing and validating designs.

    • Collaborate with Platform Lead to ensure designs align with business strategies and user needs.

  • Website Development & Maintenance

    • Manage and update existing websites using Framer and other development platforms.

    • Ensure websites are always responsive, free of bugs, and running smoothly.

  • Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Platform team, Head of Product and other stakeholders to ensure projects are on track.

    • Participate in team meetings and provide constructive feedback related to design and product development.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in website design and development (preferably using Framer, or similar platforms).

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and user-centered design process.

  • Proficient in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch) and basic front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

  • Experience in creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing.

  • Ability to translate business goals and user needs into clear, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work cross-functionally with designers, product leads, and other stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Passionate about social impact, learning, and innovation in public policy and civic tech (a strong plus)
