Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on public policy issues, including economic, social, digital and regulatory impacts.

  • Develop and present policy recommendations based on research findings.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effects of existing policies

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and private sector entities, to gather data and insights.

  • Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, and white papers on various policy issues.

  • Stay current with legislative and regulatory developments at national level

  • Participate in public forums, hearings, and other events to represent the organization’s policy positions.

  • Responsible for conducting in-depth research, data analysis, and generating reports to support policy recommendations.

  • Gather and synthesize information from various sources, create minutes of meetings, prepare presentations, and provide insights that guide decision-making processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in public policy analysis, research, or a related field, with a strong focus on digital transformation and technology-driven initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, economics, or a related discipline; advanced coursework or certifications in digital governance, information systems, or technology policy is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, especially related to e-governance, digital innovation and emerging technologies like AI and IoT.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to convey complex ideas on technology-driven public policy clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in policy recommendations and analysis.

  • Familiarity with legislative and regulatory processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in research methodologies and tools

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working with or within government agencies or legislative bodies. (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with international best practices in digital transformation and frameworks like the Digital Transformation Master Plan or sustainable tech strategies for governance.

  • Knowledge of policy areas relevant to the organization’s mission (e.g., digital services, social inclusion, environmental policy) (Preferred).
