As a Partnership Associate, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and funding opportunities that advance Think Policy’s mission, by conducting research, shaping partnership strategies, and producing high-quality grant and partnership proposals. You will serve as the primary liaison for external partners, nurturing long-term relationships and ensuring partner satisfaction, while coordinating closely with internal teams to gather inputs, support implementation, and track partnership performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and meaningful impacts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential partnership and collaboration opportunities, including staying up to date with issue trends, market developments, and policy changes.

  • Collaborate with the Grant Management Office, Growth team, and other Tribe Leads to develop partnership and business strategies, particularly for the Insights and Forum products.

  • Identify potential funding sources aligned with Think Policy’s mission and programs, and provide insights on partnership opportunities and their likelihood of success.

  • Write and develop grant and partnership proposals, applications, and other supporting documents, ensuring they are compelling, accurate, and tailored to relevant guidelines.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure sustained collaboration and partner satisfaction.

  • Act as the main point of contact for partners, responding promptly to inquiries or concerns.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including program leads, finance, and other leadership, to gather required information for proposal development and ensure smooth implementation of initiatives.

  • Track and analyze partnership-related performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategic improvements.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Social Science, or a relevant field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in partnership management, grant writing, business development, consulting, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Strong interest in the public policy landscape in Indonesia and familiarity with grant application processes will be a significant advantage.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
