Community Engagement Jr. Associate

Job Responsibilities
Advocacy and public awareness
Representing Think Policy and/or Bijak Memantau at public seminars / forums to articulate vision plans and values held by the organization.
Representing Think Policy and/or Bijak Memantau at activities held by communities previously engaged as a part of networking and collaboration.
Community engagement & partnership development
Assisting in the planning and development of Think Policy community engagement strategy: research and build networks with communities / civil society organizations at the national and local level, preparing collaboration agreements with communities if needed.
Identifying, researching, and giving suggestions for the development of Think Policy and Bijak Memantau community engagement events.
Identifying potential collaborations with communities, civil society organizations, student organizations and others, within and outside of the Think Policy ecosystem.
Engaging in the experiments and iteration for Think Policy community engagement activities, through research and evaluation.
Bridging the communication between Think Policy and other communities / CSOs that contributes in building a relevant collaboration, while ensuring deliberation and participation during the process.
Gathering stories, insights and suggestions from members of the Think Policy community for the purpose of learning and further strategy development.
Program management support
Help organize internal events, meetings, and conferences for Think Policy.
Assist with event logistics, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and audiovisual preparation for internal Think Policy events and events organized by the Academy, Insights, and Community tribes.
Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations.
Help manage event budgets and ensure successful event execution.
Liaise with vendors and external service providers for various facility-related services.
Assist in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Support the monitoring of vendor performance and service levels.
Job Qualifications
Fresh graduate from any educational background (high school diploma or higher welcome).
Experience in organizing events as part of the program division or as a project leader.
Skilled in collaborating with diverse stakeholders from various backgrounds.
Strong interest and understanding of social and political issues.
Experience working with community partners from different groups, including women’s organizations, labor unions, disability groups, farmers, and other civil society organizations.
Strong administrative skills, including drafting and managing MoUs and Terms of Reference (TORs).
