Climate Advisory Lead

Job Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of Think Policy’s climate-related advisory and research projects
Supervise project teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality of outputs such as policy briefs, reports, and stakeholder engagement materials.
Ensure that policy recommendations and analytical work align with national and subnational climate priorities.
Build and maintain partnerships with government institutions, civil society, private sector, and international organizations.
Provide input on climate governance, adaptation and mitigation strategies, and institutional reform.
Support the integration of climate work with Think Policy’s broader research, digital transformation, and inclusion agendas.
Represent Think Policy in meetings, workshops, and dialogues related to climate policy and governance.
Collaborate with the Digital Advisory Lead and other teams to connect climate resilient issues with other policy areas.
Work with Think Policy’s Climate Principal and Head of Advisory to monitor trends, regulations, and opportunities in Indonesia’s climate policy landscape to inform strategic planning.
Job Qualifications
Master’s degree in public policy, environmental studies, climate change, development studies, or a related field.
At least 4-7 years of experience in climate policy, environmental governance, or related advisory work.
Strong understanding of Indonesia’s climate policy landscape, including NDC implementation and subnational climate action.
Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and working with government or development partners.
Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
