Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Think Policy’s climate-related advisory and research projects

  • Supervise project teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality of outputs such as policy briefs, reports, and stakeholder engagement materials.

  • Ensure that policy recommendations and analytical work align with national and subnational climate priorities.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with government institutions, civil society, private sector, and international organizations.

  • Provide input on climate governance, adaptation and mitigation strategies, and institutional reform.

  • Support the integration of climate work with Think Policy’s broader research, digital transformation, and inclusion agendas.

  • Represent Think Policy in meetings, workshops, and dialogues related to climate policy and governance.

  • Collaborate with the Digital Advisory Lead and other teams to connect climate resilient issues with other policy areas.

  • Work with Think Policy’s Climate Principal and Head of Advisory to monitor trends, regulations, and opportunities in Indonesia’s climate policy landscape to inform strategic planning.

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in public policy, environmental studies, climate change, development studies, or a related field.

  • At least 4-7 years of experience in climate policy, environmental governance, or related advisory work.

  • Strong understanding of Indonesia’s climate policy landscape, including NDC implementation and subnational climate action.

  • Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and working with government or development partners.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
