Advisory & Research Lead
The Advisory Lead will oversee product strategy, support business development, manage tribe operations, foster cross-functional collaboration, ensure research quality, develop thought leadership strategies, and stay updated on research trends.
Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Development: Oversee the overall development and implementation of Advisory’s product vision and strategy, ensuring that it is aligned with the organization's goals and user demands (clients/partners and beneficiaries).
Business Development: Collaborate with Project Leads and/or Partnership Team to: secure inbound projects, iterate outbound products, and open collaboration with other research institutes to increase Think Policy's knowledge capital.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other Tribe Leads, to employ cross-selling approaches.
Responsible for managing the Tribe's day-to-day operations, which include managing Advisory & Research Tribe people, monitoring and mentoring team performance, ensuring the quality of research deliverables, evaluating projects and any research conducted, and ensuring the Tribe's financial sustainability through proper budget projection and timeline.
Supporting other Tribes and/or activities that contribute to the organization's goals, which includes ensuring that each Tribe in Think Policy has enough research capabilities.
Working with the Chief Growth Officer to develop and implement Think Policy's thought leadership strategy.
Keep abreast of latest trends and advancements in the field to ensure cutting-edge research approaches.
Job Qualifications
Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience in public sector organizations, not-for-profit organizations, or private enterprises.
Bachelor’s degree in public policy/administration, law, economics, social science, business administration, or related field.
Experience in managing a team with strong leadership skills.
Proven experience in conducting and publishing research or being advisers to public sector leaders are preferred.
