Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Curriculum and content design

  • Create and refine educational content and curriculum that align with the Academy Tribe's goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that the content meets the needs of the target audience.

  • Employ innovative and effective instructional design methodologies to enhance the learning experience.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in education, sustainability, international development, and other relevant fields to inform curriculum development.

Instructional Design

  • Develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, and learning resources, that cater to diverse learning styles and foster critical thinking.

  • Implement pedagogical strategies to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.

  • Integrate technology and digital tools into instructional design to enhance the overall learning experience.

  • Continuously assess and improve instructional materials based on feedback and evaluation data.

Mentor and Client Management

  • Building and maintaining relationships with the organization's mentor/facilitator network.

  • Working with the Academy Lead, maintaining regular communication with clients at the program implementation level.

  • Strategically assigning mentors to various Academy activities and designing learning development programs for mentors.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

  • Coordinate with PMEL Tribe to co-develop and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of Academy Tribe programs and initiatives.

  • Coordinate with PMEL Tribe to collect data to measure the impact of educational interventions on participants.

  • Use evaluation findings to make informed decisions about program enhancements and adjustments.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by sharing insights, best practices, and lessons learned within the Think Policy team.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in sustainability, international relations/development, political science, communications, computer science, education, environmental engineering, or any relevant studies.

  • Have 2-4 years of experience working in climate, digital transformation, or social inclusion issues.

  • Eager and open to learn, not afraid to ask, and interested in public policy, capacity building, especially content and curriculum design.

  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both speaking and writing).

  • Has ability to work in a team or independently.

  • Highly driven and has a proactive mindset.

  • Preferably able to come to the Think Policy Office in Jakarta.
